[Maya Tiyre]

<The cat, having found a strange plant, and proceeded to roll on it in a dignified sort of way, was running crazily around the sand, giggling in a disturbing fashion.>

"Purple butterflies!"

<It leaped up at a palm frond, landed on the sand shaking its head, and collapsed onto its side, fast asleep.>

<Goddamn catnip.>

< Lilium shook her head "no can do.. they dim and stuff.. you'll just have to deal with it.. plus.. your agitation is quite satisfying.. " she said taking a deep breath in >

[Maya Tiyre]

<The cat snapped awake for a moment and yowled noisily at Lillium.>

"I am not dim you hairless chimpanzee! I am however, a mind reader!"

[Lilium]

< Lilium looked at the cat " I spoke that aloud ..." she said kneeling down " I intended for you to hear me.."

[Dr. DuPhrayne]

<"Your intents are for nothing, you petulant shrew. Nobody will fear you here," DuPhrayne said with an exasperated sigh. "Now why don't you act real, real cordial before I decide to snap your twiggy little body right in half. I'm technically on vacation, and I don't need some strange, irritating woman coming around to muck it up.">

[Lilium]

" Whats real then?" she said looking at him with general interest, moving her hair out her face to look at him properly . she lowered her parasol and tilted her head slightly .>

[Dr. DuPhrayne]

<"I'm quite sure you're better off not knowing." DuPhrayne scratched his neck for a moment and cracked his knuckles, then sat up in the hammock, facing Lilium. "Now, instead of standing there and looking like a fool, why don't you actually say something worth hearing? Maybe explain why you're here?">

[Lilium]

" no reason .. I sorta .. " she looked embarrassed " I.. ripped a hole into this dimension by accident .. and.. im trapped.." she then looked at DuPhrayne for his reaction >

[Dr. DuPhrayne]

<"Hmm. Well, since I have no alternatives or assumptions, I'll believe you until another theory for cross-dimension transportation becomes available." DuPhrayne scratched the back of his head and sighed. "Spare me the pageantry of explaining whatever magic or science you have- I don't care. I really don't. Just tell me what you intend to do here.">

[Lilium]

< Lilium looked at DuPhrayne her eyes dimming to a maroon red . " ... I cannot say.. for.. " she smiled . " I do not know. " she said realizing , in this place she had no meaning . >

[Dr. DuPhrayne]

<"Congratulations. You're clueless. You'll fit right in with the rest of the world," William said gruffly, standing. "But, since you finally dimmed those eyes of yours, I'm feeling more inclined to be hospitable. You are cute, after all, and I should be a gentleman." He stood and opened the door to his bamboo shack, then smiled back at Lilium with a slight bow. "It may be more comfortable in the shade, considering what you're wearing," William advised. "You can go inside if you'd like.">

[Lilium]

" thats.. A Good thing? " she said looking at him " ... I guess.. im hot?" she said looking at her all black outfit . she nodded but instead of going inside she took off her first layer to show a second but with a shorter looking skirt piece and no shoulder piece >

[Maya Tiyre]

"Spare me the courting rituals please,"  <muttered the cat, now sitting under the fallen leaves of a palm tree.> "I have no reason to hack up hairball right now, but I'm sure I can find one."

[Dr. DuPhrayne]

<"You misjudge me, feline," DuPhrayne said. "A simple compliment is hardly a courting ritual. Would you call it a courting ritual if I were to say how lustrous and smooth your fur was? I doubt that very much.">

<The cat raised its eyebrow and yawned.>

"No, but on the other hand, you're not a cat. Maybe you're an honorary cat, but there's still that species divide there."
